Afghan War Rugs
Just something I found interesting
Today I saw a reel from @americana.pipedream on Instagram that discussed and advertised to sell Afghan War Rugs, small handmade rugs that tell a story. Specifically the story of armed conflict and international relations. Most infamously, on the internet at least, is the 9/11 Afghan War Rug that is seen in this video. Showing the two towers with the American and Afghani Flag, with a white dove for peace crossing the two.
